From 11 to 14 October 2026, Granavisión and Alhambra Viajes took part in Morocco FAAV Desert Connect 2026, the 1st Andalusian Travel Agency Summit held in Morocco. Sankhya Guerrero, our Sales Executive, represented the company at an event designed to strengthen commercial ties between Andalusia and the Moroccan tourism market. The event was driven by the Andalusian Federation of Travel Agencies (FAAV) in collaboration with the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT). It combined professional working sessions, knowledge exchange and direct experience of the destination.

One of the central themes of debate was sustainable tourism. Professionals addressed the environmental and social impact on local territories. They also analysed the role of local communities in building a responsible, long-term tourism model. For Granavisión and Alhambra Viajes, integrating sustainable criteria into product creation and inbound operations is a strategic priority. In addition, this approach responds to the demands of today’s traveller and protects the environments in which we operate.

The programme also included a fam trip covering Casablanca, Erfoud and Merzouga. Participants assessed the receptive capacity and infrastructure of each destination. They also explored new routes and collaboration possibilities for future travel programmes. As a result, tourism between Andalusia and Morocco took concrete shape through direct meetings with local operators.

At Granavisión, we value these institutional and commercial gatherings as real growth tools. They allow us to explore key proximity markets, exchange methodologies with other industry professionals and lay the groundwork for long-term operational partnerships.

We would like to thank the FAAV, led by its president Luis Arroyo Marín and secretary general Antonio Caño, as well as the ONMT and Grup Xaluca for organising these sessions. From Granavisión and Alhambra Viajes, we will keep connecting destinations, companies and professionals to promote collaborative, quality tourism between Andalusia and Morocco.
