μTAS 2026: Movviendo as Official DMC for an International Congress in Granada

From 18 to 22 October 2026, Granada hosted μTAS 2026, the 30th International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences. The event brought together more than 1,400 scientists, researchers and professionals at the Palacio de Congresos de Granada. Movviendo Tourism Group acted as Official DMC in Granada and Financial Partner of the congress. We handled logistics coordination and destination experience management.

A scientific congress of this scale demands rigorous planning. That work begins months before delegates arrive. Our team coordinated a full transport operation tailored to the event’s needs. We planned arrival and departure itineraries and managed connections between key venues. We also handled internal transfers. In addition, we kept continuous on-the-ground coordination for speakers and international delegations.

Beyond logistics, our goal was to give attendees a complete Granada experience. We deployed guided tours, cultural activities and a pioneering technology solution for dining. Through VECTUREX, our SaaS platform, we built an exclusive web portal for the city’s gastronomy. The 1,400 delegates could browse and book lunches and dinners at a curated selection of local restaurants. They also accessed preferential rates. This generated direct economic impact for Granada’s hospitality sector.

An event of this level needs the combined effort of institutions, venues and first-class suppliers. We would like to thank the μTAS 2026 organisation and the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Granada. Our thanks also go to our partners: Granavisión, Grupo Abades, Aceites Navarro García, Carmen de los Chapiteles and La Mamunia Hostelería.

After five days of intense activity, μTAS 2026 closed with an outstanding result in scientific exchange and economic impact. At Movviendo Tourism Group, we reaffirm our commitment to connecting technology, transport and experience management. We also aim to position Granada and Andalusia as reference destinations for major international congresses.
