On June 5th and 6th, Granada became the epicenter of meetings tourism in Spain by hosting the Assembly of the Spain Convention Bureau and the Meetings Industry Gathering, a key event for the MICE sector at the national level.
At Movviendo Tourism Group, as the official local DMC for the event, it was a true honor to be part of the organizing team and to actively contribute to the success of a gathering that brought together the main representatives of the meetings tourism industry in our country.
Our role as local DMC:
During the planning and execution of the event, Movviendo Tourism Group enthusiastically took on several key responsibilities:
- Graphic design for the Assembly: We created the visual identity of the event, incorporating not only the iconic Alhambra but also an illustration of Pico del Veleta, one of the most representative natural symbols of Sierra Nevada. A visual that brought together two major emblems of our province.
- Transfer coordination: We organized transportation for attendees and speakers to the various scheduled activities, ensuring efficiency and punctuality.
- • Cultural guided tours: We selected and coordinated the best local guides to lead tours through emblematic areas of Granada, such as the Albaicín, the historic city center, and the Cathedral, offering attendees a rich cultural experience.
- • Sustainable corporate materials: We provided eco-friendly materials for a workshop aimed at the assembly’s technical staff, promoting responsible and sustainable practices in event organization.
- Technical secretariat: We worked closely with Eurocongres to ensure impeccable technical management throughout the event.
- On-site coordination: With the support of Azafatas Alhambra, we ensured professional care for attendees and smooth execution of all activities and sessions.
Acknowledgments:
We would like to express our gratitude to the Centro Federico García Lorca, the venue for the event, for its hospitality and the ongoing support of its team during key moments.

And most especially, to: Eva Garde, Marien Cava, María José Rodríguez García for their professionalism, approachability, and dedication at every stage of the organization.
